This little fellow didn't seem to be to bothered by me getting close enough to him to get a good shot.

Yeah, I know...just another High Level Bridge pic.

And yet another High Level Bridge pic.

Along the river in Indian Battle Park.

I kind of dig long shadows...the snow only makes them that much better.

In Indian Battle Park

Heavy fog and hoar frost make this a soft eye catcher.

I really liked the look of this driveway with the fresh snow and the hoar frost.

This is along a road between Lethbridge and Coaldale.

At an abandoned place near Bellevue

That would be Frank slide in the background.

I entered this one in the "Country Life" DPC photo challenge.

All it's missing is the crescent moon.

A 50's Mercury.

A rather small section cropped out of a lager image. It's amazing how much impact an image can have after you eliminate most of it.

From an old, slightly burnt, house near Blairmore.

From an old, slightly burnt, house near Blairmore. The rust color really strikes me in theis picture.

Those would be the Pincher Creek wind turbines in the background.

I didn't notice that I had my polarizer out of alignment, hence the dark blue at the top right.

I took some creative liberties with this one. The image was almost a toss away and I thought what would make it work...

a rusty old bedframe at an abandoned farm yard

I took a color photo and converted ot to greyscale then added some graininess to make it look older. I was hoping to catch the period of the place I was shooting.

I liked the starkness of this one

pretty self explanitory as to what it is I think. I just thought the lighting on it was neat.

a bed spring in the grass at an abandoned farm yard

This was just one of those fooling around shots, and wow what a neat look I ended up with here. Its just a piece of stove pipe or something at an abandoned farm yard.

This is a slightly retouched version of the entry into the DPC challenge. I took the advice of the people who commented on it, and here is the result.

This is the first photo I entered in the DPC challenges. It didn't do very well. It scored 4.652 out of 10.
